The title of the EP is a reference to the R.I Moore book on the subject of the persecution and control of minorities in the medieval period by the Latin Church called ‘The Formation of a Persecuting Society’.
" ‘The Persecuting Society’ is the band’s first recording to feature new bassist Luke and was engineered, mixed and mastered by Dan Couch at DBS studios in Plymouth. It’s also nothing less than totally frantic, face peeling old school grindcore that’ll have jaded old dudes in faded ‘From Enslavement To Obliteration’ t-shirts weeping tears of real joy. The 5 tracks that comprise the EP are some of Human Cull’s most incendiary material to date, so if you’ve slept on this band previously, make sure you take this opportunity to indulge yourself in their furious grind carnage – you certainly won’t regret it."
